I made a robot peep for... reasons.
Every year some friends of mine put on a Peeptini party, and as part of that party they have a craft competition. Now 'crafts' has been expanded to be just about anything you can make, there have been games (Board, Video, and even Carnival style), food, poems, movies, and one year... a robot peep.
The design was pretty simple, just two servos on a base, with wires going to a 'head' on a ball joint. In theory the head could bob front and back, as well as back and forth. In reality, the stuffed peep wasn't that flexible, so the whole thing would bob. A simple Arduino was hooked up to the servos and a small loop would trigger on button push to make it move. It didn't win the Golden Peeptini award that year, but it did get second place.
